I hope the weathermen have got it wrong, or our match v Essex will be severely shortened due to rain and end in a draw. It`s forecast to be cold, wet and windy every day for the next week with the exception of tomorrow (when there is no cricket).

Im sure that our club will be looking at ways to refund or reward the members who have may have lost (unless you can watch cricket in 6-8 c wind rain and hail) around 20% of CC games by the weekend.http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Leeds-UKXX0078

Wind, rain and cold just about everywhere for the next 7 or 8 days. A good week not to be playing Championship cricket.

Cue of course Stu, a positive result in every match!

They'll probably be wrong again.

i was due to umpire at saltburn today, thankfully it has been called off. i did not fancy the sleet driving off the north sea or watching the icebergs float past, absolutely baltic. and only 17 days to scarborough.

Nope disagree it was when we went decimal the rot really set in and you could get into Headingley for a Bob and a tanner got your offspring in if they couldn't be bothered scaling the fence at the back of the western terrace .

Lousy forecast?

At the moment the lousiest forecast looks like the one made by those posters who predicted we would come first second or third in our poll

Rubbish.
I blame Sky TV, Giles Clark & the coalition but most of all the teachers.
